Call 1-800-LIFENET
The American Red Cross 9/11 Mental Health and Substance Abuse Program which is funded through public donations and administered by the Mental Health Association of NYC, has approximately 10,000 people enrolled. New participants may still enroll until January 2, 2007 by calling 1-800-LIFENET. The last date of service for this fund is December 31, 2007 and the last day to file clains is March 31, 2008.
If you still don't feel like yourself, you may still be feeling the effects of 9/11 – and so might your family. It can take a while to recognize your symptoms: sleeplessness, headaches, feeling afraid to go out or drinking too much, for instance.
